Welcome  to Upper Yadkin Valley Habitat for Humanity!

THANK YOU to the Rotary Clubs of the Yadkin Valley and Yadkinville for sponsoring the 16th annual Johnsie Hudspeth Memorial Golf Tournament in support of Upper Yadkin Valley Habitat for Humanity! Upper Yadkin Valley Habitat for Humanity is an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, dedicated to eliminating poverty housing from the face of the earth by building and renovating decent, affordable housing. Furthermore, all our words and actions are for the ultimate purpose of putting shelter on the hearts and minds of people in such a powerful way that poverty housing and homelessness become socially, politically and religiously unacceptable in our nations and world.

We are building, growing, and celebrating twenty-five years of working to eliminate poverty housing in the Yadkin Valley of northwest North Carolina. Learn more about our history and activities by clicking on About Us. Take a look at the News And Events tab to see what's going on right now. To get involved, look at our Building ProjectsDonate or Volunteering tabs. Want to be a homeowner? Click on the Be A Habitat Home Owner tab. And if you're interested in donating to or buying from our Habitat ReStore, the Habitat Home Shoppe, and in seeing what's new, click on ReStore. (great deals on gently used furniture, appliances, and home furnishings!)

As our Mission Statement says, " Seeking to put God's love into action, Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build  homes, communities, and hope." Since 1976, Habitat has served more than 600,000 families by welcoming people of all races, religions and nationalities to construct, rehabilitate or preserve homes; by advocating for fair and just housing policies; and by providing training and access to resources to help families improve their shelter conditions. We welcome you to join us.

Upper Yadkin Valley Habitat for Humanity builds and renovates houses in the towns of Jonesville, Boonville, East Bend, and Yadkinville and in surrounding areas in Yadkin County; and in southern Surry County in Elkin, and the surrounding areas of Thurmond, State Road, and Ronda.
